I think you start understanding creator as you progress your journey being a parent.

You start realising that your child needs to be exposed to challenges, for him/her to learn to overcome them.

You start letting them make choices even if it means risking wrong decisions since you want them to learn to handle failures.

You need to let them trust people, to know how to find the trustworthy even if that means a few heart breaks in the process.

You feel the need to confront them with pain to teach them handle it and still bounce back, though that means you shedding silent tears and feeling exponentially greater amount of pain. 

In this process, a parent should always let child know that they have his/her back, unconditionally. 

But at the same time it's their responsibility to let kid know it is NOT OK to let us down.

Because end of the day, you want them to enjoy life and not just live because they are born. 

Isnt that exactly what our creator wants us to know
