Okay, so I have a short story to share today

Imagine you are a person who loves giving surprises and its your husband's birthday around the corner. 😍😍

Too obvious, you would start looking out for gifts. 🎁🎁

You like a gift that is only available online.

With all the excitement you select the right one and order it.

You realise that they dont support "Cash On Delivery" which is your only preferred mode.

Now since its a birthday of most special person in your life, you go out of the way and get all the information needed to make a credit card payment from your husband with all the secrecy you could maintain. 😎😎

You succeed and you go ahead with transaction.

Unfortunately, you aren't any good with numbers and you do some or the other mistake for 3-4 times which makes you irritated and you leave the idea of buying that "stupid" gift. 😠😠

Then you go to some store and buy all the possible gifts. You are happy that you are done with everything a day in advance. 😍😍

Just then, on the previous evening of your husband's birthday --

Him: Know what, a strange thing happened today. 

You: How am I supposed to know unless you tell me (Can't help, you love sarcasm) 😏😏

Him: The credit card company called me today saying that there have been multiple tries of suspecious transaction on your card 2 days ago. And for the safety purpose we want you to replace the card. I told them, I do not think so since the card has been with me all this time. I don't want to replace the card 

Well, with no alternative left, you go in front of him with "pretending to be guilty" face and don't say a thing. 🙈🙈

He looks into your eyes for a moment and realises everything 😏😏

"Okay, I get that! Just explain me how, so that I can tell this to the credit card company"

And then the next day, on his birthday, the poor guy spends good 20-30 mins explaining the company that it was his wife who tried that and appeals them to not change the card 😂😂😂

Moral of the story: The gifts which are available only online aren't good, specially when they don't have cash on delivery. So never let them to be a part of your surprise 🙅🙅

No points for guessing that the wife is me and the lucky guy is none other that Mr. Husband, Rahul  😜😜

Birthdays are mostly about memories we make and that was 6 years ago around this time. Still this remains my most favourite memory till date 😍😍

So dear husband, wishing you all the love, laughter and loads of such incidents so that your life is always happening and we would have lots to laugh about in our old age! 😂😂
